As the 3DIVERSE project (funded under the European Union’s LIFE Programme) moves from delivery to long-term uptake, we are inviting municipalities, utilities, engineers, policymakers, civil society and youth representatives to the 3DIVERSE Final Event on 12 February 2026 at Vila Bianca in Velenje, Slovenia.

The event will highlight practical results and digital solutions that support the transformation of district heating systems and the broader energy transition in the Šaleška Valley, including the latest project outputs such as the open-source tools DHNpype and DisCoNetHeat, designed for faster, data-light district heating analysis and planning.

Across the day, participants can expect a combination of interactive sessions, expert discussion, and opportunities to exchange experiences across research, industry, public authorities and community stakeholders, ending with optional one-to-one consultations for those seeking tailored input on implementation and next steps.

Beyond presenting the project’s key outcomes, the Final Event is designed to support replication and real-world uptake: what worked, what didn’t, and what needs to happen next to accelerate cleaner, smarter district heating transitions in other cities and regions. Participants will also have space to connect directly with project partners and peers, explore potential collaborations, and discuss how digital planning tools and integrated approaches can strengthen decision-making, investment readiness and stakeholder engagement.
